How To Use This Website

1. Use an existing Brokerage, IRA, or 401K Rollover Account, or open a new one

2. Determine what % of your portfolio you wish to allocate to each stock. (For the model portfolio on this website, it's $1,000 / stock, no more than 5% / position.)

3. It may be days or even weeks before the next trade is made, so be patient.

4. Click on Performance Tab and select LT StockPicks Model Portfolio. If there is a stock you want to add to your Personal Portfolio, click the "+" symbol and the stock will copy to your Personal Portfolio. [Regular or Premium Plan members only.]

5. Buying every single position at "market open" on the initial entry day will mirror the portfolio's performance. Selecting fewer stocks may out/underperform the Model Portfolio.

6. As new stock entries or exits are "flagged", orders should be entered to "buy or sell at market" on the next day's open. [Note: this can be done at any time after the new positions are posted, even with the stock market closed.]

7. NOTE: Losing positions are closed out early, usually at either a small loss or gain; winning positions are left to continue to run.

8. To improve your Personal Portfolio's performance, new money should only be added when the indicator in the Buy, Hold, Sell, Short-term Indicator column is "green". A "red" indicator means to enter an open order tonight to sell at the next day's open "at market". Any stock showing a "yellow" indicator should be held. [Note: we are not trying to "time the market" using this short-term indicator for our buys and sells; however, we can usually improve our returns and lower our risk by trading in this manner.]

1. A Mechanical PC-based Trading System (no emotion involved) flags Buys and Sells from a Stock List consisting of the DJIA, DJTA, S&P 100, Nasdaq 100, plus a selection of other stocks having a history of good performance without excessive volatility.

2. New Buys and Sells are identified within 30 minutes of the market close.

3. Text and/or email alerts are sent out within one-hour of the market close.

4. Since this is a long-term portfolio, the exact entry day or price is not that important.

5. All trades are placed as a "market order at open" for trading the next day.

6. Try to maintain a fairly even balance across the stock positions shown in the Model Portfolio that you have decided to buy.

7. Dividend payments are not reflected in share quantity or by adjusting stock price, i.e. a $1.00 dividend will result in lower share price by $1.00. However, in your real account the dividend will be reflected as an addition / increase to your cash account.

Do you spend endless hours reviewing stock fundamentals, charts, earnings releases, etc., to try and decide what stock to buy? Has your portfolio suffered from the whipsaw effect? Have you suffered from not knowing what or when to buy or sell? Have your mutual fund returns not been what you had hoped for? I have found an easier way of investing and you are welcome to follow along by monitoring my Model Portfolio ABSOLUTELY FREE for 7 days; and if you like it, SUBSCRIBE to one of our three plans that are very inexpensive to try on a long-term basis.

You will be surprised at how simple and profitable this Mechanically-Traded Model Portfolio of mine is. I am not after the quick profit in "fast-moving" stocks, but rather a fairly steady rock-solid return by buying stocks that have just started their upward move, which has typically been fairly lengthy. This page is auto-updated with stock prices and portfolio performance throughout the day. Since this is a long term portfolio, timely entries/exits are not that critical in the portfolio's overall performance results.

The stocks listed in this Model Portfolio have been very consistent at producing excellent returns over time. When a stock is identified as a "sell", it means to exit the position at market open the next day. Any losses on exited positions are kept small while the stocks maintained in this Model Portfolio are allowed to grow-and-grow. New money is added to any of the current positions, at your discretion.

NOTE: If this portfolio can achieve a consistent 30% annual return, I am satisfied and it will have beaten the vast majority of mutual Fund / hedge fund managers out there. Check it out for yourself by pulling up any stock chart and compare the timing of my buy/sell signals against it. . .you'll be impressed.
